Tucson, Ariz. - The No. 8 USC men's golf team shot 562 on Monday and is 11 strokes out in a fourth-place tie after two rounds of the Ping Arizona Intercollegiate held at the Arizona National Golf Course.

The Trojans shot 282 in round one and 280 in round two. UCLA is in first at 551, followed by Pepperdine (552) and Arizona (553). Wake Forest is tied with USC at 562.

Sophomore Ben Hayes fired a first-round 69 on his way to a 139 (-3), good for an 11th-place tie. Fellow sophomore Nico Bollini shot 140 (-1) and is tied for 14th.

Also for USC, senior Chris Botsford is tied for 20th (141), freshman Tyler Ley is tied for 26th (142) and senior David Oh is tied for 75th (152).

UTEP's Chris Baryla is in first at 134, followed by five players in second at 135.

The tournament concludes on Tuesday.
