    SLUITER SO FAR THIS SEASON: Sophomore Tim Sluiter, a 2008 All-American honorable mention pick, posted a pair of top 10 finishes in the fall season. He tied for first at the CordeValle Collegiate (leading USC to the team win) and tied for 10th at the Fall Preview. He also tied played in the Western Refining College All-American Golf Classic.

    2007-2008: Sluiter was the only Trojan to play in all 12 tournaments as a freshman during a season that culminated with a top 10 finish at the 2008 NCAA Championships and an All-American honorable mention nod ... Sluiter, who was also a 2008 All-Pac-10 second team pick, posted four top 10 finishes and six in the top 14. He notched his first collegiate victory with a 4-over 218 (73-75-70) at the USC Collegiate, coming from behind with a final-round 1-under 70. He tied for seventh at the U.S. Intercollegiate (70-73-68-211), tied for ninth at the CordeValle Collegiate (72-74-69-215), tied for 11th at the Fall Preview and tied for 14th at the Inverness Intercollegiate ... He led USC at the NCAA Championships with a tie for ninth (70-73-73-81-297) ... He fired season-low 67s at the UH-HILO Collegiate and at the Pac-10 Championships ... He had four rounds in the 60s ... He played for Europe in the 2008 Palmer Cup.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Sluiter who attended Thomas a Kempis High in Zwolle, The Netherlands, helped guide his native country to the team title at the 2006 World Team Championships in the Fall of 2006 in South Africa, winning the Eisenhower Trophy ...He won the 2007 French Amateur, the 2006 Dutch National Strokeplay Championship in August of 2006, took the title of the 2006 RiverWoods Dutch Junior Open in July (setting a course record, 64, in the process) and won the 2006 Dutch National Championship (under 21) in June with a 72-hole 17-under ... Sluiter made the cut at the 2006 KLM Dutch Open, a European Tour event, placing 53rd ...
