Mark Pfeil, who was selected an All-American while playing at USC in 1973 and 1974, recently qualified for the senior PGA tour and is in his seventh year as a Trojan assistant coach. He assists with player development and fundraising.

Pfeil is also involved in corporate golf exhibitions, primarily for Toyota.

He joined the PGA Tour in 1976 and won the Tallahassee Open in 1980.

While playing for USC, Pfeil helped to lead the Trojans to a seventh-place finish at the NCAA Championships in 1973 and a fourth-place finish a year later.

In 1973, he was also the Pacific-10 Conference individual champion and a member of the United States Walker Cup Team.

Pfeil, 50, lives in Palos Verdes, Calif., with his wife, Diana, and two daughters, Kimberly Ann (who currently attends USC) and Kathryn.
