    THIS SEASON
    Anthony Paolucci, a former No. 1 junior, is a 2014 junior starting for his third year in a row for the Trojans and is poised to become one of the NCAA's top players ... In the 2013 fall, Paolucci posted two top 12 finishes, including a second at the Gifford Collegiate at 7-under 203 (68-66-69) and a 12th at 5-over 221 (73-73-75) at the William H. Tucker Invitational ... Paolucci advanced to the 2013 PGA Q School final after finishing first in the second stage at Bear Creek G.C. in Murrieta, Calif., in November. He fired an 11-under 277 to lead the 81-person field. He then tied for 95th at 4-under 428 (71-72-68-75-70-72) in the 152-person final field.

    2012-2013
    Paolucci, as a 2013 sophomore, was third on the team in stroke average (72.41), posting three top 10 finishes and five in the top 20 and earned 2013 Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention honors ... Paolucci, who had four rounds in the 60s, led USC three times on the year, including a tie for second at The Prestige at PGA West at 3-under 201 (70-70-70) and a tie for fifth at the Gifford Collegiate at 2-under 211 (71-71-69). He also led USC finishers with a tie for 10th at the Amer Ari Invitational at 5-under 211 (72-66-73).

    2011-2012
    Paolucci earned 2012 All-Pac-12 honorable mention honors as a 2012 freshman ... His eight rounds in the 60s were third best on the team last year and he finished with five top 16 finishes and stroke average of 72.92 ... His best finishes included a tie for ninth at the Amer Ari, where he finished at 6-under 210 (69-70-71). He also went 3-0 at the Del Walker Match Play. Other strong efforts include ties for 13th at both the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional at 2-under 211 (67-69-75) and at the Gifford Collegiate at 3-over 216 (68-76-72), a tie for 14th at the U.S. Intercollegiate at 4-over 214 (70-76-68) and a tie for 17th at The Prestige at PGA West at 5-under 211 (74-71-66). He also tied for 21st at the Pac-12 Championships at 3-over 291 (70-72-75-74).

    HIGH SCHOOL
    The 2010 Rolex Junior Player of the Year who prepped at La Jolla (Calif.) Country Day, Paolucci earned a sponsor's exemption into the 2011 Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines (a virtual home event for him) and fired a 3-under to make the 36-hole cut and finished the event in the top 30. He earned an exemption for the 2011 FedEx St. Jude Classic, though he missed the cut. He also played at the 2011 Junior Invitational at Sage Valley Golf Club in Graniteville, S.C., competing against a field of the top amateurs in the world. He took 14th ... He won both the 2010 Thunderbird International Junior (at 12-under) and the 2010 Rolex Tournament of Champions (where he was the only player under par). He also was in the top 5 in four other tournaments, including a second at the FootJoy Invitational and a tie for fifth at the U.S. Junior Championship, enabling him to finish the 2010 season as No. 1 in the Polo Golf Rankings ... Also in 2010, he made the quarterfinals of the U.S. Junior Amateur and he was second at the Junior PGA Championship. He was third in the event in 2009. In 2007, he was runner-up at the U.S. Junior Amateur when he was 14 ... Paolucci was an AJGA All-American from 2007-2010, was a member of the victorious 2010 U.S. Junior Ryder Cup team and also represented the U.S. at The Duke of York Young Champions Trophy.
