T.J. McDonald Named Lott Trophy Quarterfinalist|

USC safety T.J. McDonald has been named one of 20 quarterfinalists for the 2012 Lott IMPACT Trophy.
He also was a quarterfinalist in 2011.
The Lott IMPACT Trophy is named after former USC All-American and NFL Hall of Fame safety Ronnie Lott. It honors the nation's top defensive player who has the biggest IMPACT on his team on and off the field. IMPACT is an acronym for Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community and Tenacity.
Semifinalists for the award will be announced Nov. 13. Four finalists will be announced Nov. 28 and they will be invited to the Ninth Annual Lott IMPACT Trophy Awards Ceremony in Newport Beach Dec. 9.
McDonald currently leads USC in tackles with 53. He also had 3 deflections, an interception and a blocked field goal in 2012.
The 2011 All-American and All-Pac-12 first team selection has 216 stops and 7 picks in his career.
