Wide receiver Nelson Agholor caught 3 touchdown passes to lead the White team to a 29-0 victory over the Red squad in USC's final intrasquad football scrimmage of 2013 fall practice on Wednesday (Aug. 21) in the Coliseum.

The White team consisted of first and second team players, while third stringers were on the Red team. The scrimmage simulated an actual game day, as the Trojans bused to the Coliseum from their team hotel and conducted their normal pre-game warmup routine. However, the Trojan defense did not tackle ball carriers to the ground, as USC's opener at Hawaii is just 8 days away (Aug. 29).

Agholor caught second-half scoring passes of 31 and 55 yards from quarterback Cody Kessler. Those touchdowns sandwiched his 38-yard TD grab from quarterback Max Wittek.

On the day, Agholor had 9 receptions for 250 yards. Fellow wideout Marqise Lee added 8 grabs for 107 yards.

Kessler was 13-of-22 for 218 yards with the pair of TD tosses but he also was intercepted twice on tipped balls. Wittek was 15-of-20 for 231 yards with the scoring pass and he threw no picks.

The White team's other scores came on first-half field goals by placekicker Andre Heidari of 21, 42 and 41 yards.

Tailback Tre Madden led the White squad's ground attack with 48 yards on 8 rushes.

Defensive end Leonard Williams had 4 tackles for the White team, including a sack, while outside linebacker Jabari Ruffin also had 4 stops.

Linebacker Nick Schlossberg and safety John Auran had interceptions for the Red team. Schlossberg added 6 tackles, while safety Matt Lopes had a scrimmage-high 9 tackles.

After its opener at Hawaii, USC returns to the Coliseum for its home and Pac-12 opener against Washington State on Sept. 7.
