Webpage Launched For Fans Attending USC's Thursday Oct. 10 Home Football Game

    July 15, 2013

A special webpage for fans attending USC’s Oct. 10 home football game against Arizona——has been launched to provide information about tailgating, parking and transportation alternatives for the unprecedented Thursday night game.

The contest will be the first-ever non-Thanksgiving or non-bowl Thursday game the Trojans have played in the Coliseum.

“We are excited about this opportunity to host a Thursday night game and we want all of the Trojan Family to join us at the Coliseum to cheer on the Trojans,” said USC athletic director Pat Haden. “Because the game is on a school day, there will be several changes to our typical USC game day about which fans should be aware. This webpage will provide information on pre-game alternatives that will make the fans’ experience attending this game a great one.”

The page will be continuously updated with information, updated links and new options for attendees.

Tickets for the USC-Arizona game, and all USC home games, can be purchased online at or by calling the USC ticket office at 213-740-GO SC (4672).

USC’s Thursday classes will be in session and will operate on their normal schedules on Oct. 10. Therefore, tailgating and picnicking on campus will not be permitted, including in campus buildings, parks, plazas and the Row. Tailgating will be allowed in Exposition Park as usual.

For the first time ever, the traditional Cardinal and Gold booster picnic outside the peristyle end of the Coliseum will be open to all game ticket-holding fans, based on availability. Tickets are $60 per person and may be purchased online or by calling (213) 740-4155.

A catered tailgate party will be held in the Galen Center Founders Club and Arena, open to all fans for $25 per person. To reserve a pass, email

Several restaurants at L.A. Live will have special offers and promotions for USC ticketholders parking there.  That information will be posted on the new USC webpage when it becomes available.

Football game attendees will not be permitted to park on the USC campus. Parking at the Coliseum for passholders of those lots will remain the same.

In addition to the Coliseum lots, fan parking will be available in several lots adjacent to USC: the USC Parking Center (Jefferson and Grand adjacent to the Harbor Freeway), USC Parking Structure 1 (on Flower adjacent to the Radisson Hotel and Galen Center), USC Parking Structure 2 (at the southeast corner of Exposition and Figureoa) and in the Shrine Lot (on the north side of Jefferson across from USC parking gate 4).

L.A. Live is partnering with the USC athletic department to allow fans attending the game to park in the L.A. Live Lots 6 and 7 (Figueroa between 11th and 12th). A complimentary shuttle for all USC game ticketholders to and from the Coliseum will be available pre- and post-game. Shuttle pickup and dropoff locations and start/end times will be announced soon.

The USC athletic department has partnered with CID Entertainment to provide “Park & Ride” Trojan Express Bus service from locations in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas. More information will be available soon at

Public transportation, including by rail on the Metro Expo Line, is also an option.
