The ninth annual USC Football/Nike Coach of the Year Southern California Coaches Clinic, offering all levels of football coaches exclusive expertise from USC head coach Lane Kiffin, his Trojan coaching staff and special guest speakers such as Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy and Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio, will be held Feb. 24 and 25 at USC's Galen Center Pavilion (3400 So. Figueroa St.).

The clinic also is open to football fans who want to get an inside view of the USC football program.

The clinic kicks off at 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 24, with a talk by USC strength and conditioning coach Aaron Ausmus about in-season conditioning. Then, USC associate head coach and special teams coordinator John Baxter will lecture on special teams play. After dinner and a USC highlight video, Kiffin will give an introductory talk, followed by roundtables and breakout sessions with USC offensive and defensive coaches Ed Orgeron, Monte Kiffin, Kennedy Polamalu, Clay Helton and James Cregg, plus USC's new coaching hires. Registration begins at 3 p.m. at the Galen Center.

On Saturday, Feb. 25, a talk by Santa Margarita High School head coach Harry Welch will begin at 9 a.m., followed by instructional talks by Boise State pass game coordinator/wide receivers coach Robert Prince, San Diego State offensive coordinator Andy Ludwig and Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy. USC’s strength and conditioning staff then will conduct an on-field speed and movement training clinic. Following lunch, the afternoon will feature speeches by San Jose State head coach Mike MacIntyre and Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio. Registration that day begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Galen Center.

Cost of the clinic is $85 for any one day or $130 for both days. Groups of five or more who register together will receive a $25 discount per person. Included in the cost is a meal on both days of the clinic. The clinic has sold out each year, so attendees are encouraged to sign up soon.

Online registration is available at WWW.CAMPKIFFIN.COM. Links to a clinic registration form and brochure are included above. For more information, email USC director of football operations Jeff Fucci at jfucci@usc.edu.
