2014: Isaac will look to increase his role at tailback as a sophomore in 2014.
2013: Isaac saw significant action as a backup tailback and on special teams as a first-year freshman in 2013. Overall while appearing in all 14 games, he ran for 236 yards on 40 carries (5.9 avg) with 2 TDs and caught 4 passes for 57 yards (14.3 avg). He had a 4-yard run at Hawaii, 18 yards on 3 tries against Boston College, 36 yards on 3 rushes against Arizona, a 1-yard carry at Notre Dame and 2 carries for minus 2 yards and a 1-yard reception at Oregon State. He then had 87 yards on 11 carries with 2 TDs (4 and 37 yards) at California, a 2-yard run against Stanford, 26 yards on 8 rushes and a 17-yard catch at Colorado, 20 yards on 2 carries and a 4-yard reception against UCLA and 44 yards on 8 carries plus a 35-yard reception against Fresno State.
HIGH SCHOOL: His 2012 honors included Prep Star All-American Dream Team, ESPN 150, Rivals 100, Scout 100, Illinois Football Coaches Association All-State Class 5A, Joliet Herald-News All-Area and All-East Suburban Catholic League as a senior running back at Joliet (Ill.) Catholic Academy. He ran for more than 1,500 yards (8.7 avg.) with 22 TDs and caught 12 passes for 287 yards (23.9 avg.) with 3 TDs in 2012 despite missing some game with injuries.
As a 2011 junior, he made USA Today All-USA second team, ESPNHS.com Junior All-American first team, Max Preps Junior All-American first team, Chicago Sun-Times Player of the Year and Joliet Herald-News Offensive Player of the Year. He ran for 2,629 yards and 45 TDs in 2011 (he had 515 rushing yards and 6 TDs in the Class 5A state championship game), plus 7 receiving TDs and 2 kickoff return TDs.
In his career, he rushed for a school-record 5,305 yards.
