    2013 USC Spring Football Outlook

    2014: Steen, who started his collegiate career at USC before going to a junior college, rejoined the USC football team in the spring of 2014 as a sophomore walk-on safety.

    JUNIOR COLLEGE: He spent his 2013 redshirt freshman season as a defensive back at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa (Calif.), where he made 30 tackles, 1 deflection and 1 blocked kick in 5 games.

    2012: He redshirted as a reserve walk-on first-year freshman safety at USC in 2012.

    HIGH SCHOOL: He made 2011 All-CIF Southern Division first team and Irvine World News All-City first team as a senior safety and wide receiver at Beckman High in Irvine (Calif.). He had 74 tackles, 3 interceptions, 5 deflections and 2 forced fumbles on defense in 2011 and 21 receptions for 377 yards (18.0 avg.) with 4 TDs on offense, plus 5 punt returns for 97 yards (19.4 avg.) and 4 kickoff returns for 92 yards (23.0 avg.).

    As a 2010 junior, he had 63 tackles, 4 interceptions, 2 deflections, 3 forced fumbles and 1 fumble recovery.
