2008: Rowe will serve as a backup fullback as a sophomore in 2008. He can also play on special teams. He had surgery on his kneecap prior to 2008 spring practice and could be limited in spring drills. 2007: Rowe was a backup fullback and safety who played primarily on special teams as a redshirt freshman in 2007. Overall in 2007 while appearing in 10 games (all but Washington State, California and Arizona State), he made 6 tackles. He had 1 tackle against Stanford, 2 at Oregon and 3 against Oregon State. He suffered a concussion at Nebraska and missed the Washington State game, then sprained his left ankle against Oregon State and was sidelined for the California and Arizona State games. 2006: Rowe redshirted as a freshman safety in 2006, his first year at USC. HIGH SCHOOL: He made 2005 Super Prep All-Farwest, Prep Star All-Western, All-CIF Division I, Long Beach Press-Telegram Dream Team first team and All-Moore League Co-Defensive MVP as a senior defensive back and linebacker at Long Beach (Calif.) Poly High...He had 131 tackles, 4 sacks, 5 fumble recoveries and 1 interception in 2005...As a junior in 2004, he recorded 72 tackles, 2 sacks, 3 fumble recoveries (1 for a TD) and 2 interceptions...Current Trojans Hershel Dennis, Vincent Joseph and Travon Patterson also prepped at Long Beach Poly. PERSONAL: His brother, Kenny, is a sophomore defensive end at Oregon.
