CAREER: He has 188 tackles, including 14.5 for losses (with 6 sacks), plus 3 deflections and 1 interception (for a TD) in his career. He has 25 career starts. 2013: The steady Pullard returns for his third season as a starting linebacker as a junior in 2013. 2012: Pullard started for his second year at weakside linebacker as a sophomore in 2012. Overall in 2012 while starting all 13 games (the first 2 and the last 1 at middle linebacker and the other 10 on the weak side), he had 107 tackles (second on the team), including 8 for losses of 26 yards (with 2 sacks for minus 13 yards), plus 1 deflection, 1 forced fumble and 1 interception for a 27-yard TD. He and T.J. McDonald became the first pair of Trojans with 100-plus tackles in a season since Sammy Knight (121) and Chris Claiborne (116) in 1996 (it was also the first time since Lofa Tatupu in 2004 that any Trojan had at least 100 tackles). City first team and All-L.A. City Division I first team as a senior linebacker, defensive back and running back at Crenshaw High in Los Angeles (Calif.). He had 66 tackles with 2 sacks, 1 interception, 1 deflection, 1 fumble recovery and 1 forced fumble on defense and had 507 yards on 63 carries (8.0 avg.) with 9 TDs and 6 receptions for 88 yards (14.7 avg.) with 1 TD on offense in 2009. As a junior in 2008, he made Cal-Hi Sports All-State Underclass first team and All-L.A. City. He had 145 tackles with 26 tackles for loss and 6 sacks, 4 fumble recoveries, 3 forced fumbles and 1 interception on defense and had 968 rushing yards with 11 TDs and 15 receptions for 146 yards (9.7 avg.) with 3 TDs on offense in 2008. As a sophomore in 2007, he made Cal-Hi Sports All-State Sophomore first team and All-L.A. City first team. Current Trojan Marcus Martin also prepped at Crenshaw. He also was on Crenshaw's basketball and track (with a best of 10.9 in the 100 meters) teams. PERSONAL: His uncle, Robert Pullard, was a pole vaulter at USC (1971-74) who finished third at the 1973 NCAA meet and fourth in 1974. He and 15 of his USC teammates spent 5 days in Haiti in the spring of 2012 building homes and assisting those in need.
