    Offensive Assistant

    Kyle DeVan is in his first year as a graduate assistant at USC. He is working with the offense.

    He was an offensive graduate assistant (working with the tight ends) at Oregon State, his alma mater, in 2013. The Beavers played in the Hawaii Bowl.

    He was a 4-year (2004-07) letterman center at Oregon State, starting 38 games and lead the Beavers to 3 bowl victories (2004 Insight Bowl, 2006 Sun Bowl, 2007 Emerald Bowl). He made the All-Pac-10 second team in 2006 as a junior and was honorable mention in 2005 and 2007. He also was a 3-time Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention selection. He played in the 2008 East-West Shrine Game.

    He earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Oregon State in 2008. He is working on his master's degree in communication management at USC.

    The 29-year-old DeVan then spent 5 seasons (2008-12) as an offensive guard in the NFL. He was with the Washington Redskins and New York Jets, then spent 2009 with the Boise Burn of the arenafootball2 league before joining the Indianapolis Colts for 3 seasons (2009-11), where he started 21 of the 31 games in which he appeared (including Super Bowl XLIV). He then was with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2011 (starting 4 times) and the Tennessee Titans in 2012.

    He also worked as a substitute teacher at Vacaville (Calif.) High, his alma mater.

    He was on the football and wrestling teams at Vacaville. He was the California heavyweight champion as a senior.

    He was born on Feb. 10, 1985. His wife's name is Erin.
