    Graduate Assistant Coach (Secondary)

    Jon Farmerie is in his first season at USC, serving as a graduate assistant working with the secondary.

    He spent the previous 2 seasons (2011-12) at California, as a graduate assistant working with the defensive backs in 2012 after serving as a special teams quality control coach in 2011.

    Prior to going to Cal, he was an assistant coach at Colony High in Ontario (Calif.) in 2010, serving as the special teams coordinator and safeties coach. He also was involved with the strength and conditioning program.

    He was a graduate assistant coach at La Verne (his alma mater) in 2008 and 2009, while also adding strength and conditioning duties during part of that time.

    He was a defensive back at La Verne for 3 seasons (2005-07). He had 21 tackles (3 for losses) and 1 block as a junior in 2006 and then 44 tackles (4 for losses, including a sack), 2 fumble recoveries and a deflection as a 2007 senior.

    He received both his bachelor's degree in movement and sport science in 2008 and a master's degree in education with an emphasis on physical education in 2010 from La Verne. He is working on his master's degree in communication management at USC.

    He prepped at Upland (Calif.) High.

    Born May 30, 1986, he is engaged.
