    2013 USC Spring Football Outlook

    Spring ball begins March 5.

    2013: Shelton is looking to get into the playing rotation at cornerback as a redshirt freshman in 2013.

    2012: Shelton redshirted as a freshman cornerback in 2012, his first year at USC.

    HIGH SCHOOL: His 2011 honors included Super Prep All-Farwest, Prep Star All-West, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100 and All-Ocean League first team as a senior safety at Inglewood (Calif.) High. He had 57 tackles and 3 interceptions in 2011.

    As a junior in 2010, he had 42 tackles, 3 deflections, 1 interception, 1 forced fumble and a fumble return for a TD.
