Campbell will compete for playing time at linebacker as a junior in 2010.
2009:
Campbell served as the backup weakside linebacker and a key special teamer as a sophomore in 2009. Overall in 2009 while appearing in 5 games (San Jose State, Ohio State, Washington, Washington State, Arizona State), he had 9 tackles, including 0.5 for a loss. He even started once (Washington State), leading USC with 8 tackles (0.5 for a loss). He added 1 tackle at Arizona State. He sprained his left ankle against Washington State and missed the next 3 games (California, Notre Dame, Oregon State).
2008:
Campbell served as a backup strongside linebacker and played on special teams as a redshirt freshman in 2008. Overall in 2008 while appearing in 12 games (all but Washington State), he made 7 tackles. He had 2 tackles versus Arizona State. He missed the Washington State game because he was sick. He was switched from fullback to linebacker prior to 2008 spring drills.
2007:
Campbell redshirted as a freshman fullback in 2007, his first year at USC.
HIGH SCHOOL:
His 2006 honors included Super Prep All-American, Prep Star All-American, Super Prep All-Farwest, Prep Star All-West, Cal-Hi Sports All-State first team, Long Beach Press-Telegram Best in the West honorable mention, Orange County Register Fab 15 second team, Tacoma News-Tribune Western 100, All-CIF Inland Division Defensive MVP, Los Angeles Times All-Star, Riverside Press-Enterprise All-Riverside County first team, Inland Valley Daily Bulletin All-Inland Valley first team and All-Mountain View League Defensive MVP as a senior linebacker at Norco (Calif.) High. He had 156 tackles, 6 sacks, 1 interception and 1 fumble recovery in 2006. Norco won the 2006 CIF Inland Division title.
As a junior in 2005, he made the All-CIF Division V first team, Cal-Hi Sports All-State Underclass second team, Riverside Press-Enterprise All-Riverside County second team and All-League while getting 135 tackles. Norco won the 2005 CIF Division V championship.

He's a public policy, management and planning major at USC.
