    2013 USC Spring Football Outlook

    USC Football Spring Practice Starts Tuesday

    Trojans looking to take care of "unfinished business."


    CAREER: He has 18 career starts.

    2014: Walker, who has notched starts at offensive guard and tackle in his USC career, will battle to start for his third season as a senior in 2014, most likely at guard. He sat out 2014 spring practice while recovering from a 2013 ankle injury.

    2013: Walker start for his second season on the offensive line as a junior in 2013, at right offensive guard in 2013 after playing tackle in 2012. He appeared in 12 games (all but Hawaii and Fresno State) and started 10 of those games (all but Arizona State and Utah). He broke his left ankle against UCLA, sidelining him for the rest of the season.

    2012: Walker started USC's first 7 games and the final game at left offensive tackle as a sophomore in 2012 and served as an often-used backup in the others while appearing in 12 games (all but Arizona, which he missed after suffering a concussion against Colorado).

    2011: Walker served as a backup offensive tackle and also played on special teams as a freshman in 2011, his first year at USC. He appeared in 11 games (all but Minnesota).

    HIGH SCHOOL: His 2010 honors included Super Prep All-American, Prep Star All-American, U.S. Army All-American, Max Preps All-American second team, Rivals 100, Prep Star Dream Team, Super Prep All-Midlands, Prep Star All-Midwest, AP Division I All-State first team, AP Northeastern Lakes All-District first team and Cleveland Plain Dealer All-Star as a senior offensive and defensive lineman at Glenville High in Cleveland (Ohio). He had 17 pancake blocks in 2010. He missed part of the 2010 season with a knee injury.

    As a junior in 2009, he helped Glenville finish as state Division I runnerup.

    He was a 3-year starter.

    He also threw the shot put on Glenville's track team, with a best of 51-1 1/2.

    PERSONAL: He is a sociology major at USC. He is one of 17 siblings (and the youngest of 14 brothers).
