2013: Andrew will look to get into the linebacker rotation as a walk-on senior in 2013.
2012: Andrew was a backup middle linebacker and played on special teams as a walk-on junior in 2012. Overall in 2012 while appearing in all 13 games, he had 7 tackles, including 1.5 for losses, and recovered a fumble. He had 3 tackles against Hawaii and Colorado and his fumble recovery against Colorado led to a USC field goal.
2011: Andrew, a one-time walk-on who received a one-year scholarship in the fall of 2011, served as a backup linebacker and special teams player as a sophomore in 2011. Overall in 2011 while appearing in 6 games (Syracuse, Arizona State, California, Colorado, Washington and Oregon), he had 5 tackles and a fumble recovery. He had 3 tackles against Washington and a fumble recovery against Syracuse.
2010: He saw brief action in 3 games in 2010 (Washington State, California, Arizona State) as a redshirt freshman walk-on linebacker and had 2 tackles (both against California).
2009: He joined the USC team in the fall of 2009 as a first-year freshman walk-on linebacker, but did not see any action in 2009.
HIGH SCHOOL: He made the 2008 All-Sunset League first team as a senior at Edison High in Huntington Beach (Calif.). He had 75 tackles (with 7 sacks), 2 fumble recoveries and 1 blocked field goal as a linebacker and defensive end and caught 4 passes for 48 yards (12.0 avg.) with 1 TD as a running back and tight end in 2008. Current Trojan Charles Burks also prepped at Edison.
PERSONAL: He is a human performance major at USC.
