    USC will face Villanova at 10 a.m. PT on Nov. 28 in the first round of the 2013 Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament held Nov. 28-30 at Paradise Island, Bahamas, tournament officials announced today (July 29). The USC-Villanova game will air live on AXS TV and all of the games will be televised live on either AXS TV (10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. PT games) or on the NBC Sports Network (4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. PT games).

    The winner of the USC-Villanova game on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 28) will play the winner of the Kansas-Wake Forest game in the second round at 6:30 p.m. PT on Nov. 29, with the two losing teams facing off at 12:30 p.m. PT on Nov. 29. USC's final game of the tournament on Nov. 30 will be against one of the four teams in the bottom half of the bracket (Tennessee, UTEP, Xavier or Iowa).

    New head coach Andy Enfield's Trojans return two of its top three scorers from last season in guards J.T. Terrell and Byron Wesley, as well as 7-2 center Omar Oraby. USC, which was 14-18 in 2012-13, also brings in a strong group of freshmen, including 2013 California Gatorade High School Basketball Player of the Year wing Roschon Prince and one of the highest-scoring guards in Connecticut high school history, Khalil Dukes.

    Villanova was 20-14 last season and advanced to the 2013 NCAA Tournament where it lost to North Carolina in its first game. Villanova returns six of its top seven scorers from that team, including leading scorer junior forward JayVaughn Pinkston who averaged 13.3 points and 5.0 rebounds per game.

    The 2013 Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament field boasts a combined 191 NCAA Tournament appearances, 25 Final Four appearances and five NCAA Championships.

    The action begins here at home with the tournament's opening game against West Alabama on November 21, 2013.
