DeRozan One Of 19 Players Selected To Team USA Summer Roster|

Former USC basketball standout and current Toronto Raptor DeMar DeRozan has been selected as one of 19 players on this summer's national team roster, it was announced today (July 14). Team USA will be trimmed to 12 players by the end of the summer when it will compete at the 2014 FIBA World Cup of Basketball in Spain beginning on August 30.
DeRozan averaged 22.7 points per game for the Atlantic Division champion Raptors and helped lead them into the playoffs for the first time since the 2008 season. He ranked ninth in scoring, fourth in free throws made (519) and fourth in minutes played (38.1) among NBA players during the 2013-14 season. He also set career highs for rebounds (4.3), assists (4.0) and three-pointers made (64).
DeRozan averaged 13.9 points and 5.7 rebounds during the 2008-09 season and helped lead the Trojans to the 2009 Pac-10 Tournament Championship, while earning Pac-12 Tournament MVP honors.
