Woolridge Selected To Compete In The College Slam Dunk Contest|

USC forward Renaldo Woolridge will participate in the State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships at McCamish Pavilion on the campus of the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Ga. on April 4 at 4 p.m. PT. The 25th annual event, which will showcase the dunking and sharp-shooting talents of 24 of the nation's top college basketball players, will be broadcast live on ESPN. Woolridge has been selected to compete in the Denny's Slam Dunk Championship.
Woolridge played in 20 games for USC this season, as he began a graduate degree in Social Work. He received his undergraduate degree from Tennessee in 2012, but had one season of eligibility remaining and returned home for his final season.
Woolridge is from Sherman Oaks, Calif. and attended Harvard-Westlake High where as a senior he was rated the No. 8 prospect and top small forward in the state of California by Rival.com.
He also is a hip hop artist/writer/producer who performs under the moniker of SB Babyy and has his own independent record label called
Swiperboy Entertainment. Woolridge wrote and performed a USC Fall Sports song titled "We Play To Rise" which was played at many of the USC sporting events this past school year.
