BREAKDOWN: Curtis Washington is an athletic and talented 6-foot-10, 245-pound forward. He possesses the tools to be a great defender and is working on becoming an offensive force. He improved a great deal last season, despite not playing many minutes.
2010-11: Played in three games for a total of 11 minutes his freshman season. Appreared in his first game as a Trojan vs. New Mexico State on Nov. 21 and grabbed an offensive rebound. Played four minutes vs. CS Fullerton on Nov. 24 and four minutes vs. Stanford on Jan. 20. Has yet to take a field goal attempt for USC.
HIGH SCHOOL: Washington averaged 8.0 points and 4.0 rebounds as a junior and really opened peoples eyes during the summer between his junior and senior season. He was named MVP of the Rick Bolus Blue Chip Camp and was ranked as the No. 1 prospect in the state of Kentucky according to Rick Bolus Scouting Report. Washington missed several games due to a right ankle injury during his senior season at Elizabethtown HS, but averaged 8.0 points and 7.6 rebounds in eight games.
PERSONAL: Washington was born on Dec. 5, 1991 in Chesapeake, Va.
