THIS SEASON: Collin Robinson, a 6-foot, 170-pound freshman in 2006, can help the Trojans at either the off guard or point guard positions. He is known for having a great outside shot and for his ability to score.
HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 25.9 points his senior season at Diamond Bar (Calif.) High School, hitting 40 percent from behind the three-point arc (103 of 255). No other player on his team averaged as many as nine points per game. He scored 802 points as a senior, breaking the school record previously held by NBA star Keith Van Horn. He was selected to the 2005 All-CIF Division 1-AA Southern Section first team, San Gabriel Valley Tribune All-Area Player of the Year, Los Angeles Times All-San Gabriel Player of the Year and the Los Angeles Times All-Star team. He was also a McDonalds All-American nominee. Scored a career-high 42 points in a playoff win vs. Peninsula. Scored 19 points in the CIF Division 1-AA semi-finals loss to Hart.
PERSONAL: Robinson was born on Sept. 28, 1987. Is majoring in broadcast journalism at USC and would like to get into sportscasting following his playing career. His biggest sports hero is Allen Iverson. Likes to watch "Family Guy" and his favorite movie is "Scarface." His hobbies include reading and listening to music, and lists The Game and Notorious B.I.G. as his favorite recording artists. Says the best part of being at USC is the academics and the Alumni Association.
