THIS SEASON: Jonathan Oliver, a 7-foot, 230-pound center, is a 2004 senior in his second year with the Trojans. Extremely agile for his size, he is a quality shot blocker who runs the floor with ease. After seeing only limited time as a junior, Oliver hopes to expand his role this season.
2002-2003: Averaged 2.5 points, 1.6 rebounds and 7.8 minutes in 17 games as a reserve center ... Scored a season-high 19 points against Morris Brown, making 8-of-9 shots and adding seven rebounds and two blocks ... Had 11 points and five rebounds off the bench against Missouri.
VENTURA COLLEGE: Earned 2002 California Community College All-State first team honors and was the Western State Conference MVP after averaging 17.1 points, 11.3 rebounds and 5.2 blocks per game as a 2002 sophomore at Ventura (Calif.) College ... Started all 33 of his team's games and shot 62.8% from the field (213-of-339) ... His 173 blocks (5.2) were first in the state and broke Ventura's single-season and career records ... Was also seventh in the state in rebounds ... Led Ventura in rebounding in 27 of 33 games and led it in scoring in 16 of 33 games ... Had single-game highs of 32 points, 21 rebounds and nine blocks ... Helped lead Ventura to a 29-4 finish and to the first 10-0 mark in the Western State Conference North Division ... Redshirted the 2001 season after transferring from Indian Hills College.
INDIAN HILLS: Was a freshman center at Indian Hills College in Ottumwa, Ia., in 2000 ... Averaged 2.7 points and 1.9 points in 23 games.
