BREAKDOWN: Strahinja Gavrilovic (gav-RILL-oh-vich) is a 6-foot-9, 230 pound junior forward with a solid inside and outside game out to three-point range. Worked his way into the rotation last season and provided the Trojans with valuable minutes off the bench.

2013-14: Gavrilovic averaged 3.1 points and 1.9 rebounds in 30 games, four starts. Started the opener at Utah State on Nov. 8 and had three points and two rebounds in 14 minutes...it was his first career start and he played more minutes than he did his entire freshman season. He grabbed a career-high five rebounds on Nov. 21 vs. West Alabama, Jan. 22 vs. California and Feb. 16 vs. Colorado. He scored a total of 21 points in USC's first 15 games, then scored 73 points in the final 17 games for a 4.3 points per game average. He scored a then-career-high 10 points vs. No. 1 Arizona on Jan. 12 and followed that up with nine points at Utah on Jan. 16. He then scored a career-high 12 points vs. Stanford on Jan. 26. Also scored nine points on 4-for-5 shooting vs. Utah on Feb. 13. Given the Ernie Holbrook Award at the team's banquet as the most inspirational player.

2012-13: Gavrilovic played in six games totaling 11 minutes as a freshman. He grabbed a total of three rebounds and scored two points in his limited minutes which would project to 7.3 points and 10.9 rebounds per game when prorated for a full 40-minute game. Made his collegiate debut in the opener vs. Coppin State and had a rebound in one minute played. Scored two points and grabbed two rebounds at Arizona on Jan. 26.

HIGH SCHOOL: Gavrilovic attended Rock Academy in San Diego, Calif. as a senior, but did not compete. Originally came to the U.S. to play at La Jolla Prep, but chose instead to enroll at Rock Academy. Honed his skills while playing for the Serbian U18 team at the European Championships which lost to Turkey in the finals. Was selected to play on the Serbian U20 team this summer, but elected to enroll in summer school at USC and begin his Trojan career.

PERSONAL: Gavrilovic was born on April 5, 1993 in Kragujevac, Serbia. His father Zoran played professionally in Europe for more than a decade and is now the Secretary General of the Basketball Association in Serbia. Gavrilovic switched to the number 14 this season, the same number his father and grandfather wore when they played. He is an International Relations, Global Business major at USC.
