BREAKDOWN: Devon Pflueger is a 6-foot-6, 195-pound sophomore guard who is a good defender and excellent outside shooter.
2013-14: Pflueger played in three games and averaged 1.0 point and 1.7 rebounds per game. Made his collegiate debut vs. West Alabama on Nov. 21 and saw three minutes of action. Played two minutes vs. Howard on Dec. 29 and scored his first point by going 1-for-2 from the free throw line and ripped down four rebounds. Made his first basket and grabbed another rebound vs. Colorado on Feb. 16.
HIGH SCHOOL: Pflueger played in 21 games for Junipero Serra Catholic High as a senior before suffering a season-ending injury. The captain averaged 9.5 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game. He made 45.9 percent of his three-point attempts (17-for-37) and 49.0 percent overall from the floor (73-for-149). Scored a season-high 20 points and grabbed a season-best 10 rebounds in 67-59 loss against Mission Viejo on Nov. 30. Scored 19 points in a 75-51 win vs. Santa Margarita on Jan. 11...was 5-for-6 from three-point range in the game. As a junior, Pflueger averaged 14.0 points with a season-high 29 points against Santa Margarita on Jan. 11, 2012. Scored a career-high 30 points against Marshall as a sophomore on Feb. 16, 2011.
PERSONAL: Devon was born on Sept. 28, 1993 in Mission Viejo, Calif. His parents are Rebecca and Russell Pflueger and he has one brother, Rex. Lists his mom's sandwiches as his favorite food.
