BREAKDOWN: Chass Bryan is a 5-11, 165-pound junior guard is one of the elder statesmen on the team who begins his third season with the USC men's basketball program. Bryan provides the Trojans with speed at the guard position and has shown the ability to run a team and push the pace which fits in nicely with head coach Andy Enfield's style of play. Bryan is an aggressive and tough player with the ability to be a disruptive force on the defensive end.
2013-14 : Bryan appeared in 25 games and made three starts, averaging 1.6 points and 0.6 rebounds per game. He was fourth on the team with 24 assists and fifth in steals with 13 while averaging 9.2 minutes per game. Made his first career start on Nov. 12 vs. CS Northridge and had two points, three rebounds and three assists. Scored a season-best nine points vs. Villanova on Nov. 28. Started againon Dec. 22 at Dayton and scored two points in 11 minutes. Scored eight points in his third start on Feb. 16 vs. Colorado and fouled out for the first time in his career. Played 10 minutes or more in eight of the first 13 games, but only once in the final 19 games.
2012-13 : HIGH SCHOOL: Bryan attended Oaks Christian HS in Westlake Village, Calif. He averaged 16 points, five assists and two steals his senior year when he led the Lions to a 22-6 record. Scored a high school game high of 31 points vs. Village Christian. Oaks Christian advanced to the CIF-Southern Section quarterfinals where they lost 50-48 to La Verne Lutheran despite 18 points from Bryan. He was the team's MVP and assist leader both as a junior and senior. He was ranked by Max Preps as a top 50 player as a junior and senior and was ranked No. 24 in the state by Cali High. Bryan was named first team All-State by ESPN Los Angeles as a junior and honorable mention as a senior. He was also named to the Daily News first team his final two seasons at Oaks Christian. Was a first team selection as a junior and senior to the All-Tri-Valley League, All-Ventura County and All-CIF Division IV. He was also named first team All-America NCSAA as a senior and second team as a junior.
PERSONAL: Bryan was born on March 11, 1994. Named a USC Presidential Scholarship winner for academic excellence, leadership, and community service.
