TBAA Fifth Annual Homecoming Banquet Set for November 17|
Sept. 27, 2013
LOS ANGELES- The Trojan Baseball Alumni Association will host its fifth annual Homecoming Banquet on Sunday (Nov. 17) in the Founders Room of the Galen Center. The event will focus on the celebration of 1960's, a pivotal decade for USC baseball, as the program advanced to the College World Series six times and eventually won three national titles.
Trojan baseball alumni, family and friends will reminisce about the 1960's with many Trojan legends and will look into the future with USC baseball head coach Dan Hubbs, his coaching staff and the 2014 Trojan squad.
Special recognition will be given to the three national championship teams, as well as panel discussions of Trojan stars and former baseball players. The Lifetime Achievement Award will be given to a great Trojan, Justin Dedeaux, for his career devotion to USC and Trojan Baseball.
The banquet is scheduled to include remarks from USC Athletic Director Pat Haden and Senior Associate Athletic Director JK McKay. TBAA President and former major leaguer Don Buford will also speak.
Doors to the event open at 4 p.m., with a no-host cocktail party from 4-5 p.m., dinner at 5 p.m. and the program starting at 5:45 p.m. The cost for the event, with hors d'oeuvres, dinner, program and silent auction is $85 per person. See the form above to register for this can't-miss event.
You can also plan on making an entire day of USC baseball, as the current Trojan team is set to take on the University of San Diego at 11 a.m. earlier in the day at Dedeaux Field. The game will be free, so come out and get a sneak peak at the development of the 2014 team!
