Brad Boxberger Represents Trojans in MLB All-Star Game|

LOS ANGELES- USC alum Brad Boxberger, now a right-handed reliever for the Tampa Bay Rays, was selected to represent the American League in the 2015 All-Star Game (Tuesday, July 14, in Cincinnati). Boxberger is 4-5 with a 3.55 ERA and 20 saves in 22 chances this season.
The pitcher is the 68th Trojan ever to be selected for the MLB All-Star Game. In his three-year career at USC, Boxberger was 11-12 with a 3.81 ERA over 37 starts in 46 games. He was selected in the supplemental first round (43rd overall) of the 2009 MLB Draft by the Cincinnati Reds and was later traded to the Padres before joining the Rays in 2014.
