LOS ANGELES - USC junior LHP Barry Zito was named the 1999 Pacific-10 Conference Pitcher of the Year, highlighting USC's honors as the conference announced the All-Pac-10 team on Friday.
Four other Trojans made the All-Pac-10 first team. Sophomore SS Seth Davidson made it for the second time, and senior OF Greg Hanoian, senior OF Jason Lane and senior 2B Dominic Correa all made it for the first time.
Three Trojans earned honorable mention notice: freshman 3B/C Beau Craig, senior RHP/1B Justin Lehr and junior C Eric Munson.
Arizona State's Willie Bloomquist was named Player of the Year and Stanford's Mark Marquess was named Coach of the Year.
The Trojans (33-23 overall, 17-7 in the Pac-10 for second place), will host an NCAA Regional at Dedeaux Field on May 28-30.
