Cristala Andrews of the women's tennis team and Logan Odom of the baseball team were named USC Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week today (March 14) for the week of March 7-13.

Cristala Andrews: Women's Tennis: Senior Cristala Andrews came up with singles and doubles wins for the Trojans in two victories last week. Andrews teamed up with Alison Ramos for doubles play at the No. 3 position and got her first two wins of the year at the No. 5 singles position. Her 6-4, 7-5 win over Khunpak Issara clinched a win for #16 USC over #30 Pepperdine on the road. The previous match, Andrews drilled Fresno State's Bianca Modoc with a 6-3, 6-0 win for USC's first singles point of that match. She and Ramos also got the clinching doubles wins for both points in the Trojans' wins last week. USC improved to 10-2 overall with last week's victories.

Logan Odom: Baseball: Senior right-hander Logan Odom threw 7 1/3 scoreless innings Sunday as the USC Trojans shut out the No. 13 UCLA Bruins, 2-0, in the 2011 Dodgertown Classic finale. Odom allowed just four hits with two walks and four strikeouts in front of 11,680 at Dodger Stadium.
