Williams is an experienced pitcher who can chew up some innings as a reliever.
2004
As a 2004 redshirt junior, Williams made 20 appearances with an 0-3 record and 7.65 ERA in 37 2/3 innings...he allowed 57 hits, walked 21 and struck out 34 batters...he made five starts on the season with his best effort on Feb. 15 at Long Beach State (6 1/3 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 1 BB, 7 SO)...earned his only save of the season on April 17 at Washington State with two-thirds of an inning and one strikeout.
2003
After making five appearances at the start of his 2003 season, Williams suffered a season-ending injury to his right elbow and was able to redshirt.
2002
In his 2002 sophomore season, Williams assumed a long relief role in the bullpen and went 5-2 with a 5.84 ERA and three saves...recorded the win in relief with 6 1/3 scoreless innings with no walks and two strikeouts on March 16 at Pepperdine...earned the win after 5 1/3 innings allowing one run (unearned) on five hits with a walk and two strikeouts on March 10 vs. Creighton at the Express College Classic in Round Rock, Texas.
2001
Williams made 10 appearances as a 2001 freshman, going 0-1 with a 8.10 ERA in 13 1/3 innings...allowed 17 hits and 12 earned runs while striking out six and walking eight.

He earned 2000 first team All-East Bay Athletic League honors at Monte Vista High in Danville, Calif...also earned team most valuable player honors...member of the North Coast Section semi-finalist team in his senior season...member of the honor roll all four years.
