1999: Todd pitched in two games as a 1999 freshman, but did not retire either of the two batters he faced.

HIGH SCHOOL: Todd earned All-Eastern League first team honors twice and second team honors once at Patrick Henry High in San Diego...once pitched three straight shutouts, including a one-hitter with 15 strikeouts...also played football and made the All-League first team as a senior...was a San Diego Union-Tribune Scholar-Athlete...was rated 90th among the nation's high schoolers by the Team One National Showcase.
