Summer
As a member of the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Baseball League, Stock batted ..270 (31-for-115) with three doubles, one triple, one home run and 11 RBI...on the mound, he made two appearances and had a 9.00 ERA...in two innings, he allowed one hit with two walks and three strikeouts.

2008
In his second season as a pitcher and catcher for the Trojans, Stock batted .299 (53-for-177) with eight doubles, four home runs, 22 RBI and three stolen bases...on the mound, he was 1-1 with a 3.60 ERA and three saves...in 10 innings of work, he allowed nine hits and four earned runs with four walks and 17 strikeouts...opponents batted .237 against him on the mound...in 54 games, he made 53 starts at catcher and one as the designated hitter...had 13 multi-hit games including three three-hit games and one game with four hits...had six multi-RBI games including two games with three RBI...had two season-high hitting streaks of six games (March 16-25 and May 10-18)...from March 16-25, he batted .545 (12-for-22)...from May 10-18, he batted .474 (9-for-19) with four doubles, one home run, six runs scored and seven RBI...after breaking out of an 0-for-24 slump, Stock recorded three doubles in a game for the first time in his career on May 14 at UC Riverside...he then followed up with a 2-for-3 night, adding a home run and two RBI on May 16 in a 5-3 win against Oregon State...on April 11 against No. 5 Cal, he recorded his first four-hit game as he went 4-for-4 with two RBI...hit a three-run dinger in the top of the ninth on April 4 at No. 23 UCLA in a 6-1 and struck out two batters the following day in the ninth to get his second save of the season...at No. 17 San Diego on April 2, he pitched in his second straight game and picked up his first save after the Toreros put runners at second and third with no outs in a 3-2 win...on April 1 vs. UC Riverside, he went 3-for-4 at the plate and pitched 1 1/3 perfect innings with three strikeouts to earn the win...drew four walks as the Trojans' leadoff hitter on March 30 at No. 1 Arizona State...had a 3-for-3 day on March 9 at Winthrop and hit his second homer of the season with a solo shot on March 5 against Pepperdine...hit his first homer of the season on Feb. 23 at Florida International and pitched a perfect ninth inning in USC's 9-3 victory, recording back-to-back strikeouts to end the game.

2007
Stock played his first collegiate season as a 2007 freshman after bypassing his senior year in high school...as a catcher/designated hitter, he started in 38 of 45 games while making 14 appearances on the mound...batted .253 on the season (38-for-150) with five doubles, four home runs and 22 RBI...on the mound, he was 2-2 with a 4.55 ERA and two saves...in 29 2/3 innings, he allowed 25 hits and 15 earned runs while walking 14 and striking out 25...opponents hit only .238 against him...hit his fourth homer of the season on May 16 against UC Santa Barbara along with a season-high three RBI...recorded a win in the Georgia series (March 2-4 in Athens, Ga.) with 2 2/3 innings of relief in the March 4 victory and hitI do a home run in Friday's game...recorded his first win on the mound with 2 1/3 no-hit innings on Feb. 24 against No. 21 Tulane...during the weekend series against No. 17 San Diego (Feb. 9-11), Stock recorded two saves as well as hitting his first collegiate home run in a pinch-hit duty on Feb. 10...made his first collegiate appearance on Feb. 9, going two innings and giving up only one hit with a strikeout...on Feb. 11 in the Trojans' 4-3, 10-inning win, Stock started as the catcher (throwing out two runners at second) and got the call to go on the mound in the 10th inning, recording the final two outs for the save...during the summer, he played for the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Baseball League, batting .228 (28-for-123) with five doubles, four home runs and 20 RBI...on the mound, he made nine appearances and had an 0-1 record with a 7.88 ERA and three saves...in eight innings, he allowed 13 hits with eight walks and nine strikeouts.

He was a member of the 2004 and 2005 U.S. Youth National Team.

High School
Stock was named 2005 Baseball America Youth Player of the Year after his junior season at Agoura (Calif.) High for coach Scott Deck...batted .456 with six home runs and 25 RBI while posting a 5-3 record with a 2.69 ERA with a fastball clocked as high as 95 miles per hour...behind the plate, he committed only one error and threw out almost 70% of all base runners...played in the 2006 Aflac All-American Classic in San Diego where he was the starting pitcher for the West squad and allowed two unearned runs in one inning before striking out the side...showed his hitting prowess later in the game with a solo home run to center field...batted .400 with eight home runs in his sophomore season...named the top player in the nation by Baseball America in his age group three years in a row (age 13, 14 and 15)...along with his Baseball America honors, Stock was named Player of the Year by the Los Angeles Times and earned All-CIF first team honors...his Agoura team reached the CIF Division I final, losing to Lakewood, 2-1, despite Stock throwing six shutout innings and going 3-for-3 at the plate...recorded a 3.8 GPA while at Agoura.
