    For his 2006 senior season, Sharpe will serve as the team's starting shortstop.

    2005
    Sharpe batted .297 (74-for-249) with five home runs and 36 RBI in his 2005 junior season...led the team with 11 stolen bases...for the second straight year, he played in every game...earned All-Pac-10 honorable mention recognition...showed his versatility by playing four different defensive positions (right field, shortstop, second base and first base)...had 20 multi-hit games on the season...earned Pac-10 Player of the Week honors after going 9-for-13 (.692) with a triple, home run and seven RBI in the Washington State series (May 13-15)...as the team's leadoff hitter on May 14 against the Cougars, he reached base safely in all six plate appearances, going 4-for-4 with a home run and career-high five RBI...registered a season-high nine-game hitting streak (March 5-19), where he batted .447 (17-for-38) and scored 11 runs...went 4-for-4 with a leadoff homer on April 10 in a 6-0 shutout against UCLA...on March 12 against No. 19 Wichita State, he recorded his first career five-hit game with a 5-for-5 night and two doubles.

    In his first season as a 2004 sophomore for the Trojans, Sharpe played in every game and batted .316 (74-for-234) with two home runs, 28, RBI and seven stolen bases...led the team with 21 multi-hit games...went 4-for-4 with a home run and four RBI on Feb. 14 in a 6-4 win against No. 14 Long Beach State...batted .500 (9-for-18) in four games (March 31-April 4), including a 4-for-5 performance on April 2 at No. 14 Arizona State...had a season-high eight-game hitting streak from March 28 to April 10, where he batted .436 (17-for-39)...went 6-for-14 during the Oregon State series (April 23-25) with four runs scored...as a member of the Orleans Cardinals of the Cape Cod League in the summer, he batted .138 (11-for-80) with three RBI.

    Sharpe earned conference first team honors in his 2003 freshman season at L.A. Pierce College in Woodland Hills, Calif.
