    2013/FRESHMAN: As a true freshman Adler appeared in 19 games for the Trojans, 18 out of the bullpen, while making one start at Cal State Fullerton (April 9) ... In his one start he went 2.2 innings, allowing five earned runs on five hits ... Had a season-high three strikeouts three times ... His longest outing of the bullpen came in his second career appearance, vs. Cal State Northridge on Feb. 22, where he went two complete innings, striking out three and not allowing a hit in a 9-4 loss ... The freshman did not allow a hit in his first five appearances (5.2 innings of work) ... He finished the season with 19 strikeouts through 18.1 innings of work ... Tallied saves on Feb. 23 at Cal State Northridge and on Feb. 26 vs. Long Beach State.
