He made 53 starts in 55 games, batting .308 (64-for-208) with 11 doubles, three triples, one home run, two stolen bases and 11 RBI...earned Pac-10 Conference honorable mention recognition...behind the plate, he threw out 30 of 77 baserunners (39.0%)....went 2-for-4 with two RBI on May 27 against Washington State...had a six-game streak from May 20-28 where he recorded exactly two hits in every game...went 3-for-5 with one RBI on May 15 against No. 6 Arizona State...hit a three-run homer on April 22 in a 12-9 win at Washington, going 3-for-6 in the game with a season-high three RBI...hit a double in three straight games (April 2-5)...went 2-for-4 with a double and one RBI on March 27 against No. 24 UCLA...he was hit in the helmet by a pitch on Feb. 25 at Rice in the first inning, but was able to come back as a pinch hitter on Feb. 27.
