He was a four-year varsity letterwinner at La Mirada High for coach Kim Brooks...batted .409 with 24 runs, seven doubles and 19 RBI as a senior...earned All-CIF, All-Suburban League MVP and Whittier Daily News Player of the Year honors his senior season...a three-time all-league and all-area selection...he was named to the 2011 California All-Region Team and the Perfect Game Underclass 3rd Team in 2009-10...ranked No. 57 in California by Perfect Game USA.
