Gallardo will compete for playing time as a reliever on the USC pitching staff.

2009 (West Los Angeles College)
He made two starts in six appearances for West Los Angeles (Calif.) College for coach Bob Grant...had an 0-2 record with a 7.56 ERA...in 16 2/3 innings, he allowed 15 hits and 14 earned runs with 12 walks and 21 strikeouts...opponents hit .220 against him.

High School
He was a three-year varsity letterwinner at Westchester High in Los Angeles under coach Ross Rossenfeld.
