    Trojans Drop 10-Inning Heartbreaker at Washington State 4-3

    USC tied the game in the top of the ninth, but were unable to bring home the go-ahead run.

    2014 SUMMER BALL: Played for the Willmar Stingers in the Northwoods League ... Batted .221 in 51 games ... Had 38 hits with five of those being doubles and one home run ... Recorded 16 RBI for the season ... Stingers placed first in the Northern Division of the Northwoods League with a record of 46-26.

    HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year baseball letterwinner for head coach Toby Hess at Long Beach Poly High School in Long Beach Calif...2013 MaxPreps Large School All-State Team, 2013 All-CIF Division I selection, 2013 Rawlings California Region Honorable Mention, First Team All-Moore League, Press-Telegram First Team Dream Team, and team MVP as a senior... In 2013 went .406 at the plate, 39 hits, 30 RBI...As a junior in 2012 earned First Team All-Moore League honors, Press-Telegram Dream Team Player of the Year, offensive MVP...2012 Connie Mack Western Regional MVP and World Series Co-MVP......He lead his team on the Honor Roll...Received the Pursuit of Excellence award...Says his most thrilling moment was when he played in a perfect game a hit the only run scored.
