MISSISSIPPI: He played three seasons for Mississippi, making 100 starts in 143 games...batted .280 with three home runs, 21 RBI and four stolen bases as a 2001 junior...started in 50 of 55 games in his 2000 sophomore season, serving as the leadoff hitter in 42 games...batted .307 with one home run, 19 RBI and 11 stolen bases as a sophomore...recorded 16 multi-hit games as a sophomore and had a 17-game hitting streak, which tied for the third-longest in school history...batted .340 with no home runs and 12 RBI in his 1999 freshman season...started in 13 of 33 games as a freshman.
