    Six pitchers and three outfielders were taken on the last day of the 2016 MLB Draft.

    2016/JUNIOR: 2016 All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention Selection…2016 Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention selection…Appeared in 49 games, starting 41 of those, including all in Pac-12 play…Batted .290 on the year, including fifth highest on the team….Tallied six home runs, good for tied for third best on the team…Stole a team-high 10 bases (10-for-12 overall)…Drove in 24 runs and scored 35 as the team’s leadoff hitter…Had a career-high three hits in back-to-back games against Arizona, 3-for-5 on April 28 and 3-for-5 on April 29…Had a career-high three RBI on four different occasions on the year (March 18 vs. Cal, April 2 vs. Stanford, April 9 vs. Utah, May 15 vs. UCLA)…Had an 11 game hit streak from April 17 thru May 7…In Pac-12 play, batted .292 in 30 games, with three home runs and 19 RBI with nine doubles…Those nine doubles were third-most on the year…Drew 17 walks in Pac-12 play and stole six-of-seven bases.

    2015/SOPHOMORE: In his sophomore season for the Trojans, Dempster appeared in 22 games with 4 starts...In his first start on February 15 versus Towson he had 3 at bats, scored one run and earned one RBI...Appeared at bat 28 times with three runs, five hits and a total earned RBI of four...Batted .179 for the season (5-for-28)...Had an on base percentage of .207 and a slugging percentage of .179.

    2014 SUMMER BALL: Played for the Springfield Sliders in the Prospect League ... Hit .233 with 45 hits ... Recorded three doubles, one triple, and one home run ... Had 14 RBI for the season ... Played with fellow Trojan teammate, A.J. Fritts ... Sliders finished the in fifth place in the West Division of the Prospect League with a record of 9-21.

    2014/FRESHMAN: In his first season of action for the Trojans, Dempster batted .200 while appearing in three games ... He recorded one hit from five at bats ... His first career hit came on May 20 at Cal State Fullerton, going 1-for-2.
