In his 2006 sophomore season and first in Division I play, he had a 4.32 ERA in 8 1/3 innings, allowing four earned runs on six hits with three walks and five strikeouts...made six appearances on the season...held opponents to a .227 batting average...threw a season-high 2 2/3 innings in a one-run win over UAB...struck out two in two innings of work against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
2005 (Orange Coast College)
He earned All-Orange Empire Conference second team honors in his 2005 freshman season under coach John Altobelli...went 7-2 with a 2.47 ERA and two saves...threw 54 2/3 innings on the season...tied for second in the conference for wins...made 18 appearances on the season...struck out 52 batters for an 8.7 strikeouts-per-nine-innings ratio, fourth-best in the conference.
