    Was a four-year varsity baseball starter for head coach Mark Brenner at Indio High School in Indio, Calif....Four-time All-Desert Valley League...Named Desert Valley League Pitcher of the Year in 2012 and 2013...Earned All-CIF honors as a senior in 2013...2012 Desert Valley League MVP...MVP of the 2013 Coachella Valley Rotary Tournament...During his senior year in 2013 he pitched 74 innings with 103 strikeouts, a .66 ERA...He also batted .487 with 37 hits and two homeruns.
