    2002: After serving as a catcher in 2001, Adolph could see some playing time in the outfield or as a designated hitter in 2002 as a junior. He is coming off surgery to repair a labral tear in his right shoulder.

    2001: Adolph played in six games as a 2001 sophomore, going 1-for-6 at the plate (.167).

    2000: Adolph did not play for the Trojans as a 2000 redshirt freshman.

    1999: Adolph was a member of the baseball team's support staff as a 1999 freshman and redshirted.

    HIGH SCHOOL: A two-time (1997-98) All-San Joaquin Valley selection at Clovis West High in Fresno, Calif., Adolph was also his school's Student-Athlete of the Year and Scholar-Athlete of the Year...batted .520 as a junior and .440 as a senior...also played football at Clovis West...traveled to China with an all-star U.S. baseball team when he was 15.

    PERSONAL: His father, Rob, played football and baseball at USC from 1972-74 and was a member of five national championship teams (three in baseball and two in football)...majoring in business...enjoys surfing and playing the guitar...lists Evander Holyfield and Jim Thorpe as his athletic heroes...birthdate is March 2, 1980.
