Trojans Improve To 3-0 With Win Over Loyola Marymount

LOS ANGELES - Senior right-hander Scott Henderson (1-0) went five innings and allowed just one run on two hits while walking no one and striking out two to lead third-ranked USC (3-0) to a 7-2 win over Loyola Marymount (0-1) today at Dedeaux Field.

USC was led offensively by senior shortstop Marc Mirizzi, who spent his first two collegiate seasons as Loyola's shortstop before transferring to USC last year. Mirizzi was 2-for-4 with two doubles.
