Every December, USC's student athletes ensure that our local schools feel the warmth of the Trojan Family. In conjunction with volunteers from the Trojan Athletic Parents Association (TAPA), 200 student athletes visit a nearby school for a day of beautification, mentorship, and of course, sport. Upon arrival, athletes match up one-on-one with a student, and the pair begins their day on a designated beautification project: painting a mural, building a jungle gym, installing basketball nets, etc. After improving the campus, the buddies sit for an educational lunch centered on nutritious food options. Finally, kids and athletes compete in a mini-field day of various sports. During the season of giving, this event reinforces our athletes' dedication to their community and its youngest members.
