USC Has 14 Students Named To Pac-12 All-Academic Teams|

USC had 14 student-athletes named to the 2015 Pac-12 Track & Field All-Academic teams led by first-team selection of junior Jaide Stepter and second-team selection senior Conor McCullough, it was announced by the conference today (June 19).
Stepter, the 2015 Pac-12 champion and All-American in the 400m IH, was named to the Pac-12 All-Academic First Team as she sports a 3.81 GPA in Communications. Stepter, who was also named to the 2014 Pac-12 All-Academic First Team, ranks third on USC's all-time 400m IH list with a time of 55.83 and ran on USC's school record-setting indoor and outdoor 4x400m relay teams.
McCullough was named to the Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team as he maintained a 3.38 GPA in History. McCullough won the 2015 NCAA hammer throw title with a mark of 252-4, defeating the competition by nearly 18 feet and registering the farthest throw by a collegian since 2002. McCullough also captured the 2015 Pac-12 title in the event and won every hammer throw competition he was in this season.
The 12 Trojans named Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention are senior Erica Capellino, senior Alexandra Collatz, senior BeeJay Lee, redshirt junior Diego Lopez, junior Tera Novy, sophomore Cameron Pettigrew, redshirt sophomore Erika Peyton, junior William Robinson, redshirt freshman David Sellens, senior Kira Soderstrom, junior Natasha Strickland and junior Jenna Tong.
