    USC Also Competing Outdoors This Weekend At The Ben Brown Invitational

    USC will have 36 athletes competing outdoors at the Ben Brown Invitational hosted by Cal State Fullerton in Fullerton, Calif. on March 13-14, while 12 Trojans will be at the NCAA Indoor Championships in Arkansas on the same days.

    Among the Trojans competing for the first time this outdoor season will be women's distance runners Emma Kao and Alyssa Reardon, as well as men's middle distance runners Myles Andrews, Kyle Iverson and David Manahan, javelin thrower Diego Lopez and shot putter Nick Ponzio.

    The men's and women's hammer throw and javelin competitions will take place on Friday starting at 10 a.m. with the men's hammer throw, with the rest of the competition scheduled for Saturday.

    The Trojans will be getting prepared for hosting next weekend's Trojan Invitational on March 20-21. Among the top-notch talent joining USC at its home meet will be athletes from Oregon, BYU, Washington State, San Diego State, Hawai'i and Long Beach State.
