LOS ANGELES - The USC track and field team will open up the 2010 track and field outdoor season at the Carl Rossi Relays in Claremont, Calif. on Saturday, Feb. 27.

"We are going to mix it up, treat it like a scrimmage," said USC Director of Track and Field Ron Allice. "We want to get some competition and get our feet wet. We will send a majority of the team, but not everyone will be competing in their specialties."

Returning All-Americans expected to compete include Shalina Clarke, Myra Hasson, Dalilah Muhammad, Elizabeth Olear, Brysun Stately, Ahmad Rashad, Jason Price, Joey Hughes, Oscar Spurlock and Duane Walker.

Also seeing their first outdoor action as Trojans are top-recruits Reggie Wyatt, Alitta Boyd and Lauren Chambers.

USC's women's team placed eighth and the men's team 10th at the 2009 NCAA Championships and return 14 All-Americans from those teams. The Trojans also have 22 athletes on this year's team which have already placed their names in USC's all-time top 10 lists.
